Welcome to the home page of the Organic Central website. We offer a free home delivery service which covers most of the Birmingham UK area: we supply fresh organic vegetables and fruit, as well as free-range organic eggs.

Apart from the details of our weekly home delivery service, with a weekly-updated pricelist, this website provides a vegetable guide (VegBase) which gives information about storage, cooking and nutrition; an index of the basic dietary requirements, plus a more detailed account of the main essential vitamins and minerals. There is also a recipe feature linked to the VegBase, enabling you to select and combine ingredients to satisfy both nutrition and the palate. We hope to develop our 'VegBase' page into a comprehensive guide to nutrition and cooking tips for a wide range of produce: more recipes will be added in the near future.

Our 'GreenLinks' page lists local and web-wide links to other sites concerned with organic and environmental issues - user input will be very welcome!

We hope you will find the site interesting and informative: if you do, please tell your friends - if not, let us know how we can extend and improve it. Please contact us at the e-mail above with any enquiries, comments or suggestions: relevant submissions will be added to our GreenLinks listing.
